NJW Cold Forming – Leaders in Purlin Manufacturing
Established in 2015, NJW Group acquired the Metsec Licence together with manufacturing rights and four cold form rolling mills from Safinta SA. This marked the natural progression in expanding our structural steel business, positioning us to deliver a complete turnkey solution for our customers.
Based in Pretoria, NJW Cold Forming is a privately owned company and the sole supplier of Metsec purlin sections in Southern Africa. Alongside our Metsec range, we manufacture a wide selection of commercial-quality cold formed C and Z section purlins designed for strength, efficiency, and long-term performance.
Our capabilities extend beyond purlins. We roll equal size angle iron up to 3.0mm from 450MpA strength material, and our product line now includes a Unistrut profile mill, further broadening our cold form offering.
Precision-engineered Purlins for Every Structure
We manufacture Z and C section purlins tailored to provide maximum structural performance in roof, wall, and mezzanine floor applications. Each product is produced from Z275 pre-galvanised coil with a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 450N/mm², ensuring durability and reliability on every project.
